Chapathi | Do-Cha Mix

Ingredients:

  1. Do-Cha mix         - 1 cup
  2. Warm water         - ¾ cup
  3. Oil /ghee             - 1tbs
  4. Salt                      -  As per requirement

Procedure:

  1. Add do -cha mix to a wide mixing bowl then add oil/ghee and salt as per your requirement
  2. Slowly add warm water little by little at a time, mixing as you go, until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until it’s smooth and soft. If it’s sticky, add a little flour; if it’s too dry, add a tiny bit of water.
  4. Add 1 teaspoon of oil while kneading for extra softness (Optional).
  5. Cover the dough with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest for at least 15-20 minutes.
  6. Divide the dough into small, equal-sized balls. Flatten each ball slightly and dust it with a little flour to prevent sticking
  7. Roll each dough ball into a thin, round chapati, dust with flour if the dough sticks to the rolling pin or surface.
  8. Put the chapati on hot tawa and cook it for a few seconds. Now your taste chapathi to serve.

Pro tip:

Coriander chapati :  Add a good amount of chopped coriander leaves while kneading the dough to make delicious coriander flavour chapati
