Ingredients:
- Idiyappam Mix
- Salt
- Water
Procedure:
- In a mixing bowl, take required amount of Idiyappam mix.
- Slowly pour the hot water into the flour and mix with a wooden spatula or spoon and make a dough.
- Once it cools slightly, Grease the idiyappam press.
- On greased idli plates, banana leaves, or a steamer plate, press the dough in a circular motion to form thin noodle-like layers.
- Steam Idiyappam 8-10 minutes on medium heat.
Serve with sweetened coconut milk & jaggery.
