Thali peeth | Do-Cha Mix

Ingredients:

  1. Do cha mix                                            - 1 cup
  2. Cumin powder                                     -¼ tbs
  3. Chilli powder                                        - ½ tbs
  4. Ginger garlic paste                              - 1tbs
  5. Finely chopped green chilli                 - 1 tbs
  6. finely chopped onion                          - ¼ cup
  7. finely chopped coriander leaves         - 2 tbs
  8. Salt                                                      - as per your requirement
  9. Oil                                                       - as per your requirement
  10. Water                                                  - as per your requirement

Procedure:

Prepare the Dough:

  1. Take a large wide bowl , mix all the ingredients and make everything combine well
  2. Now add 1 cup of water and knead the dough

Shape the Thalipeeth:

  1. Divide the dough into small portions, about the size of a golf ball.
  2. Take one portion and place it on a greased plastic sheet or parchment paper. Flatten it gently with your fingers, spreading it out into a circular shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

Cook the Thalipeeth:

  1. Heat a tawa on medium heat and add a little oil.
  2. Gently lift the thalipeeth from the sheet and place it on the hot tawa.
  3. Drizzle a little oil or ghee around the edges.
  4. Cook until the bottom side is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until it is also golden and crispy.
  5. Your thali peeth is ready to serve.

Pro tip:

Serve the thali peeth with butter, pickle and curd.
